Purebred Angus Cattle
About Our Angus Herd
Our bulls are developed from a ranch-raised cow herd that is intentionally built around fertility, efficiency, and longevity. Every decision we make — from cow selection to bull development — is focused on producing cattle that work in real-world ranching systems and contribute to profitable, sustainable cow–calf operations.
A Cow Herd Built to Work
Our cow herd is managed under practical, low-input conditions. These cows are not fed through the winter, and we do not rely on equipment-intensive feeding systems. Instead, they transition naturally from grazing to swaths or bale grazing during the coldest months, typically January and February and occasionally into March, before returning to pasture.
Because of this management style, our cows are expected to:
Maintain body condition efficiently
Calve unassisted with minimal intervention
Cycle early and breed back consistently
Raise well above-average calves
Only cows that meet these standards remain in the herd.
Thoughtful Bull Development
Our bulls are developed with longevity and soundness in mind — not pushed for short-term gain. Their first winter is spent on a moderate growing ration, allowing them to develop frame, muscle, and structure while maintaining soundness. Many of our bulls consistently exceed expected weight-per-day-of-age (WDA) benchmarks without being overfed.
Following their first winter, bulls are turned out for the summer, where they continue to grow naturally, build athleticism, and learn to be bulls in a real ranch environment.
Selected for Real-World Performance
During their second winter, bulls are brought in and fed to be sale ready, while undergoing strict evaluation. Any bull that does not meet our standards for soundness, disposition, structure, or long-term durability is culled from the program.
The result is a group of bulls that are:
Easy to handle and work with
Structurally sound and built to last
Fertile, athletic, and functional
Suited for low-input, commercial environments
Bulls You Can Trust
These are bulls you can rely on — bulls that will go to work, cover cows efficiently, and help build a productive, profitable, and sustainable cow herd. Our focus is not just selling bulls, but producing breeding stock that adds value year after year.
